Can video games help aging brains stay young?

This report on the Today Show’s special – Living Longer, Living Better – focuses on video games developed by Adam Gazzaley at UCF to help re-train the brain. Unlike Lumosity, these are very real, very effective therapies which are going through the FDA process right now. Dr. Gazzaley uses Neurofeedback, direct stimulation and many other techniques at this lab to help create these games that will someday be used by the masses for maintaining brain health. He has also used Diffusor Tension Imaging, with EEG overlay to create the “Glass Brain” which is the future of Neuro-Imaging in our industry.
